Mags and I have matching fashion-forward beanie hats!
My wonderful friend Ali knitted them for us and gave them to us in person during our visit in November. I have been wearing mine ever since (not only is it warm, but it fits my big head!) but Maggie has been reluctant to wear hers, favoring her Bucky Badger hat instead:
She has a sock monkey hat similar to the Bucky hat that she would sometimes want to wear, but whenever I suggested the marshmallow hat (beanie), she would simply say no.
Until this weekend.
"I want to wear my marshmallow hat like mama."
SWOON!
It's been her daily hat of choice ever since :)
Disclaimer: I totally was one of those kids that wanted to be twinsters with their mom for a time. I specifically remember the matching tweed skirts my mom made for herself, me and my Cabbage Patch kid (there is a photo somewhere!) and the time we both wore houndstooth pants, white shirt and red cardigans to church, planned by me. My mom also made my sister and I matching dresses on MANY occasions, which I was all too happy to wear.
Those hats are adorable!!!
