First Real Haircut

Last Friday was a big day - Maggie got her first haircut!

Technically, this was her second haircut as I did take a scissors to her mullet a few months ago.  Her hair was "wild" (Maggie's word) and so we decided to take her in.

We went to Kid-dos upon the recommendation of our babysitter.  Maggie was very excited about it all week, and would pretend to give Nate and me haircuts every night.  I still was not so sure she would be into it once we got there.

I did not need to worry. As soon as she saw the Barbie Jeep chair, she was sold.  The woman who cut her hair did a great job and it has tamed a bit!

I had to laugh that she put some mousse in it when she was done and they also sprinkled some glitter on it.  That was a little overkill in my opinion but Maggie indicated she wanted the glitter when asked.  They provided us with this certificate (!) and a lock of Maggie's hair.  It is now proudly displayed on our fridge, ha ha ha.
