Lots of changes occurring lately at our house, the most exciting of which was delivered today (will blog about that next week!).
We have been looking to upgrade our kitchen table for a while. I really wanted a round pedestal style table, preferably an older one. I would look at Craigslist if I thought of it, but did not consistently check.
Lo and behold our friends R&D were looking to sell an old round pedestal table and four chairs. They were not having luck on Craigslist so posted it to Facebook. The table was originally made in Eau Claire, WI and D's dad refinished it. SOLD!
Here is our old dining table:
The nice thing about the table is that it came with 6 leaves so it can get pretty large, not that we need that right now. We decided that one leaf was a good size for right now. We also like that the four chairs do not all match - two of the chairs are one design while the other two are another design.
My goal is to now re-do the upholstery on the chairs. Right now it is a nice tan color but as you can see, there is a lot of tan already going on. I'm hoping to find something bright.
